CHI St. Francis to close skilled nursing facility, citing shifting trend in US hospitals

CHI St. Francis in Grand Island announced plans Monday to close its skilled nursing facility, effective March 10. The closure is the latest in a nationwide trend of skilled nursing facilities closing their doors due to decreased capacity, staffing shortages and financial issues.
