The setup

Three old friends — Grace, Harold, and Ruth — share a park bench with a left seat, a middle seat, and a right seat. Each brought a different drink (lemonade, iced tea, or coffee) and wears a different colored hat (blue, green, or red).

Clues

• Grace sits at the left end of the bench.
• Harold sits in the seat between the other two.
• The person on the right end brought the coffee.
• The person in the middle seat brought the iced tea.
• Grace wears the green hat.
• The person on the right end wears the blue hat.
